MAKING OF MAHATMA IN THREE STEPS: STAGE 1

18th April 2010. I started this sketch in Morning. It is advisable to start a pencil sketch from upper side and to finish at the buttom. Because our hand rests on the paper and the impression of pencil sheding gets dirty if we put hand on it. A right handed artist should start from the upper left corner (see I have started from the top left corner) and vice versa for a left handed artist

iThis water colour painting was made to impress a girl once upon a time. It was a Valentines day. I was a student. I thought of wishing to my beloved. I was strongly driven by my emotion. I couldn't sleep at night and made this painting. But I didn't show it to her. I never told many things to her it was giving a different kind of courage and self fulfillment. I still have an emotional attachment to this painting.

After several years I redefined the theme and Now it is just an alltime appropriate to a theme: Love
